Dr. Share is an Osteopathic Physician board certified in Family Medicine. He is a 1995 graduate of the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, part of the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Ft. Worth, Texas. His internship year was at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, part of Midwestern University. He attended a family medicine residency in the South Bend, Indiana area with Ancilla Healthcare. Since completing his residency, Dr. Share has practiced primary care in private practice, group practice, and as a civilian physician for US troop and dependent clinics at several military bases over the years. In 2010, he joined the Lymphedema Institute in Houston, Texas. He is the Chief Medical Officer for this organization and has become a leading expert in the diagnosis and treatment of the complex, chronic swelling condition of lymphedema.
Dr. Share became a Certified Lymphedema Therapy Specialist through Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy on July 11, 2011 and is a current member of the National Lymphedema Network since 2010.
Dr. Share believes strongly in a holistic approach to each and every patient. He strives to approach each patient as an individual, treating the whole person and not just their disease or condition.
Martha White, OTR is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Allied Health in Galveston, Texas. She is a licensed occupational therapist and certified in lymphedema therapy by The Academy of Lymphatic Studies. Martha joined the Lymphedema Institute in June of 2016 with the vision of expanding the company's imprint in the greater Houston area to include occupational therapy to serve the lymphedema community. Martha brings a diversity of knowledge to the company including experience in orthopedics, water therapy, skilled nursing, and senior care. She is the author of 2 books, Water Exercise (Human Kinetics) and The Aging Spine (i universe). She is also the author of 2 continuing education courses through PTCourses.com.
Martha holds multiple certifications in lymphedema management including Lymphedema Management of the Upper and Lower Extremities since January 1999, Fundamentals of Lymphology and Lymphedema Diagnosis through Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy since June 2016 and Martha became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist through Academy of Lymphatic Studies in August 2016 allowing her to use the credential of CLT.
